MCOMS new Standalone Casting solution brings your guest’s content on the big screen

MCOMS is proud to announce that is expanding its HOTstream Cast solution offering, with an innovative standalone casting option, agnostic of the TV model, or Guest TV system. For the past few years MCOMS HOTstream Cast solution was offered as part of the HOTstream TV platform, ensuring that guests have the same content streaming experience they enjoy at home. The standalone solution not only gives your guests control over their in-room entertainment but can run independently without the use of any interactive system.
Guests can easily access their own content from Netflix, HBO, YouTube, Spotify and many more applications in a secure and managed environment with a simple 2 step pairing procedure. The HOTstream Cast standalone solution allows the guest not only to cast content and simultaneously use their mobile device for other applications but also guarantees security for their content and credentials.
For the hotel, the solution provides managed access to the cast devices, minimal requirements on the existing network infrastructure and an intuitive guest experience in a hotel branded environment that will boost guest satisfaction. In addition the solution comes with a monitoring and reporting tool and allows guests to pair multiple devices simultaneously to the same TV or one device to multiple TVs. The solution works with any guestroom TV with an HDMI input and can either be integrated with 3rd party interactive TV systems for better user experience or installed on its own, without an interactive TV system.
