The Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga, Latvia’s first five-star luxury Kempinski Hotel, has recruited MCOMS to offer the latest in-room entertainment technology for its clientele.
MCOM Media Communications has already installed the HOTstream Interactive TV, VOD, and Screen Mirroring solutions to all 141 hotel rooms and suites. Guests can now enjoy a vast variety of more than 100 on-demand movies and channels covering an equally vast variety of genres. MCOMS HOTstream is connected with the PMS interface allowing guests to peruse hotel services and make requests all in a multilingual and user-friendly environment.
With the famous Latvian National Opera House by its side and the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, at its feet, the hotel presents a whole new level of comfort and elegance to both city guests and locals. Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga features 141 first-class rooms and suites, two restaurants and two bars, and six spacious meeting rooms, including the Grand Ballroom, a world-class SPA and wellness facility. Breathtaking panoramic views of the capital, refined service, and a rich cultural experience await guests from around the globe.
Mr. Istvan Kovacs, General Manager at Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga says: “MCOMS has a record of successful deployments in luxury five-star hotels and was proven the right fit for incorporating high-end hospitality technology to our guestrooms. We are confident that the MCOMS HOTStream solution will be a significant asset to the Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga guest experience.”
Costas Sakellariou, MCOMS CEO said: “We welcome the opportunity to work with yet another exceptional Kempinski hotel. We are pleased to have a luxury hotel of this caliber in our portfolio.”
