MCOM Media Communications (mcoms.com), a pioneer in TV and Mobile hospitality solutions, released HOTstream Cloud on Microsoft Azure (azure.microsoft.com). HOTstream Cloud is the cloud-based counterpart of MCOM HOTstream hospitality solution that delivers digital content, connectivity, and commerce services to hotel guests and travelers on multiple devices via ONE centralized platform!
In HOTstream Cloud everything runs on the cloud and is delivered to the guest screens over the internet. All that a hotel needs is HOTstream Cloud service and internet connection as our pioneer approach eliminates the need to acquire and maintain on-premise servers, racks, ups power feeds, and other headend hardware. Through HOTstream Cloud each hotel can have the full suite of MCOM HOTstream up and running instantly including Free-to-Guest TV, Hotel interactive services, PMS integration, Video-on-demand, and mobile apps.
Similarly to MCOM HOTstream, HOTstream Cloud is provided along with our web-based administration solution, HOTstream OMS, to allow hoteliers to monitor and manage the service using a web browser from the comfort of any desktop, tablet, or smartphone.
Costas Sakellariou, MCOM Media Communications CEO said “After extensive research, we decided to provide our HOTstream Cloud hospitality solution through Azure. Thanks to the great support from the Azure team, we realized quite early that Azure is flexible and open and at the same time everywhere in the world giving us the ability to support any hotel”.
Greg Jones, Managing Director, Worldwide Hospitality and Travel at Microsoft said, “It is our pleasure to welcome MCOM into the Azure family. HOTstream Cloud is a great cloud-based hospitality solution, which combined with Azure, gives a new perspective to the guest-facing technologies”.
